  2. Guide consumers to the most suitable product within the Neutrogena body care range.
  3. Demonstrate tangible improvement in hydration levels after using Neutrogena body lotion, proving its efficacy.

This interactive approach was designed to educate consumers about their skin’s hydration status while building trust and confidence in Neutrogena’s products.

USP’s Contribution
To address Neutrogena’s objectives, USP Solutions developed an innovative Hydration Test Tool tailored for body skin analysis. The tool provided a quick and accurate measurement of skin hydration levels, allowing consumers to understand their skin’s condition and see visible results after using Neutrogena products.

How It Worked

  1. Initial Hydration Measurement:
    • Consumers placed the Hydration Test strip on their body skin. The strip reacted within seconds to indicate their hydration level, categorized as normal, dry, or very dry.
  2. Product Recommendation:
    • Based on the results, beauty advisors guided consumers to the Neutrogena body lotion best suited to their hydration needs.
  3. Demonstration of Results:
    • After applying the recommended Neutrogena body lotion, consumers repeated the hydration test to see the immediate improvement in their skin’s hydration level, reinforcing the product’s efficacy.

Impact
The Hydration Test Tool became a key feature of Neutrogena’s POS strategy in France, driving consumer engagement and sales. By combining education, interaction, and visible proof, the tool reinforced Neutrogena’s reputation as a leader in skincare science and innovation.
