Focusing on bespoke skincare, the marketing team of Glowal Milano, needed a physical on-skin assessment tool for their consumers. A tool that evaluated their skin type so that the brand could develop personalised products for them. Wanting to stand out in a crowded market, they also needed a tool that could be used along with their digital app.
Once the results from the on-skin tool were uploaded onto the app, and the consumer had answered a few questions about their skin needs, the app further evaluated and recommended the personalized product formulation that best suited the consumer’s need.
An easy-to-use Skin Type Tester completed the 360 degrees evaluation of the skin. The amount of sebum detected determined the test person’s skin type and the results of which were then scanned into the app. Using the results from the on-skin tester, and answered questions from the quiz, the app was able to determine the best possible skincare formulation for the consumer.
